We act honestly and truthfully in all dealings, ensuring our practice reflects the ethical expectations of the end-of-life doula profession.

  • Information Sharing: Personal information is shared only with explicit written permission, except in life-threatening situations where all efforts to obtain consent have been exhausted.

Scope of Practice & Legal Compliance

In accordance with the Richwine decision and NEDA standards, we operate as an educational consulting organization and are not a licensed funeral establishment.


  • Non-Medical Status: Our services are strictly non-medical and holistic. We do not perform medical assessments, administer medication, or provide clinical care.


  • "Trusted Companion" Role: We serve as "trusted companions" who complement and supplement the work of family caregivers and medical hospice providers. We comply with the spirit and letter of all local, state, and federal laws


Financial Integrity & Transparency 

We deal fairly and with total transparency in all financial matters.


  • Written Proposals: We provide complete, detailed cost information in writing prior to the commencement of services.


  • No Referral Fees: We strictly avoid conflicts of interest and do not offer, seek, or accept payment of any kind for referral services.


  • Gift Policy: We do not accept gifts from suppliers or organizations that set up a reciprocal expectation, ensuring our judgment remains impartial

In alignment with our Going with Grace training, we view deathwork as a form of activism.
